MAJOR PUSH NEEDED FOR POLICE-FREE LAUSD WITH STUDENTS DESERVE

Date & Time: Monday, June 21 - Tuesday, June 22
Details: Major Push Needed for Police-Free LAUSD. This Tuesday, June 22nd, the LAUSD school board will be voting to finalize their budget. Currently, the budget sets aside over $50 million for school police - including tens of millions of education dollars allocated for vacant positions, weapons & ammo, k-9 units and more. We know that Black & Brown youth in LAUSD deserve care, not cops, and that the $50 million for LASPD should be reallocated immediately. We have until Tuesday to make the board feel AS MUCH PRESSURE as we possibly can to demand that they defund school police and invest in our students!
